Big hobby, small price.

Everyone who knows me, knows how obsessed I am with my hobby. I’ve spent the past seven years building my collection into what it is today.

Seven years ago, I decided that I wanted to start collecting hot wheels. It was a cheap and inexpensive way for me to enjoy my passion for cars. From a very young age, I’ve been into cars. I grew up playing racing games on PlayStation and Xbox, and still do today. Did I think that my new found hobby would turn into what it has today? Absolutely not. I figured I’d buy a car here and there, accumulate a few, and move on to something else. I was wrong, way wrong. Below is a photo of the set that started it all.

Shortly after I decided to begin collecting, I made a trip to my local Walmart to see what all was available, and see if anything peaked my interest. I looked at what was hanging on the pegs, and didn’t find anything worth bringing home. As I was walking away, I noticed Someone had placed a complete set of the hot wheels Porsche series on the shelf, and left it there as if they lost interest. I examined each car in the set, and decided to bring them home.

It’s hard for me to believe that seven years have already passed. In those seven years, I have found and collected nearly 1,800 cars. I don’t collect for quantity, I collect what I like. This is just the beginning of our Journey through my collection and what it will become.
